Olmert: Nasrallah is the Bravest Man in the World
Tuesday an interesting piece of news saying that the Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert described Hezbollah Secretary General al-Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah as "the bravest man in the world".
However, just after five minutes of publishing the news in Hebrew, the website administration deleted the news.
Olmert`s slip of tongue was in an interview with a Romanian journal where he said that despite the fact that Nasrallah "is a leader of a `terrorist` organization, he is the bravest man in the world, fears nothing and works in a courageous and experienced way for the future."
But when the journalist asked Olmert "do you really mean Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah in Lebanon?" he noticed the "slip of tongue"- according to Yediot - and answered, "I`m joking!"
The website also mentioned that the interview tape was seized from the Romanian journalist, and the interview was made again with a promise from the journalist not to mention Olmert`s words.
Olmert has said previously, in an interview last October, that he does not want to "insult, annoy or underestimate Nasrallah, but he has lost his appetite to fight Israel for several years."
