Hezbollah Confirms the Reported Meeting
Arabia`s King Abdullah bin Abdelaziz, that the party is open to all initiatives that end up in solving the Lebanese crisis.
Hezbollah said in a statement released here Thursday, that deputy chief Sheikh Naim Kassem and a senior aide, Mohammed Fneish, conferred during their visit to Jeddah on the Lebanese developments and the need to get out of the current crisis that is correlated with the surrounding regional developments.
It said that Hezbollah elaborated on its view about the Lebanese conditions and the demands of the opposition as well as the successive events in the Lebanese arena foremost the latest Israeli aggression and the position of various Lebanese sides on that aggression.
The delegation underlined the importance of national unity and participation of all active parties in managing the country`s affairs after the successive crisis that hit it. It also made it clear that Hezbollah is open to all initiatives and proposals that end up in solving the current standoff in the country and held the other side in Lebanon responsible because it is not responding.
The statement indicated that King Abdullah expressed interest in Lebanon and the understanding among the Lebanese people as well as his support for finding a way out of the crisis.
