Body of 2nd slain Korean hostage found
police found the body of the second hostage Tuesday overnight, hours after the Taliban said it had killed him, a provincial police chief has said.
The body was found in the province of Ghazni, where 23 South Koreans were kidnapped on July 19.
"It was the body of a South Korean. There were bullet wounds in the body," Ghazni Police Chief Alishah Ahmadzai said.
Taliban spokesman Yousuf Ahmadi had previously said they killed a male South Korean hostage named Sung Sin at 1600 GMT on Monday after the Afghan government did not pay attention to deadlines earlier set by the group.
