Hezbollah condemns US envoy remarks

Feltman, ambassador of the United States to Lebanon told Lebanon`s LBC television from Paris on Friday that new Lebanese president can be elected by the current members of Lebanon Parliament on March 14, IRNA news agency reported.
As per Lebanon`s Constitution, participation of two-thirds of parliamentarians in electing a new president is necessary.
Hezbollah added in its statement that there is no need to listen to the ambassador`s remarks to know the true identity of the March 14 group because everyone knows that Feltman is the leader of the group. This group was a very active participant in the Cedar Revolution rallies on March 14, 2005, following the assassination of former Lebanon`s Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.
