Fatah al-Islam chief`s body identified
identified him at the morgue of the state-run hospital in the northern city of Tripoli, a military source who did not wish to be identified said.
The wife, accompanied by Palestinian clerics, was seen leaving the hospital in tears, together with her 14-year-old daughter.
The daughter also identified the body of Fatah al-Islam spokesman Abu Salim Taha at the morgue, the source said.
The names of the wife and daughter were not released.
Abssi and Taha were among at least 38 Fatah al-Islam militants killed on Sunday in northern Lebanon as the army seized control of Nahr al-Bared refugee camp after more than three months of fierce fighting.
