Arab League against partitioning Iraq
Secretary General Amr Moussa voiced an Arab stance against US proposal to split Iraq on Monday.
This is a dangerous interference in Iraq which can lead to international turmoil, Moussa said.
The US Senate passed a non-binding bill on Wednesday calling for limiting the power of Iraq`s federal government and giving more control to Iraq`s ethnically divided regions.
The bill suggested that Iraq would be divided into Kurdish, Shia and Sunni parts, with a federal government in Baghdad in charge of border security and oil revenues.
