Israeli rocket kills Lebanese man
was killed instantly as the rocket went off in his garage on Thursday. He had been trying to dismantle the ordnance in order to extract the metal for scrap.
Police said the rocket was dropped on Lebanon by the Israeli army during the 33-day war launched by the Zionist regime in 2007.
According to the United Nations the munitions dropped by Israel last year included more than a million rockets and cluster bombs. However, about 40 percent of the munitions failed to explode on impact.
Unexploded ordnance has killed at least 40 people and wounded 227 since the conflict ended in August 2006.
