Suicide bomber kills 6 Afghan kids
Saturday killed six schoolchildren and wounded 12 people, including three Italian engineers working on the bridge construction project, an Interior Ministry spokesman said.
Many people gathered at the site when the suicide bomber blew himself up, Police officials were quoted by Reuters as saying.
A spokesman for the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said he was aware of an incident in the capital involving ISAF forces, but could not provide any further details.
At least 200 Afghan civilians have been killed so far this year in more than 140 suicide attacks by the Taliban.
